THE SCHOOL
Trinity is building an impressive reputation for offering students an extraordinary breadth and depth of opportunities beyond the classroom. Perhaps counterintuitively, this appears to be having a significant and positive effect on academic results inside the classroom.
Regularly sending pupils to Russell Group universities including Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, Bristol and Warwick, Trinity appears to have found a magic formula which empowers and inspires individuals:
“Every one of my children has reached their full potential and more at this school.” - Former Parent
Recipient of 6 Good School Guide Awards for A-Level performance, this year saw Trinity achieve another 100% pass rate with 98% A* to C and half of those A* or A grade. Similarly, a 100% GCSE pass rate saw 15% at Grade 9 with half of all results awarded either 9, 8 or 7.
LOCATION
Teignmouth is a picturesque Devonshire town on the South Coast of Britain which offers all the benefits of a safe and peaceful coastal lifestyle whilst remaining around 20 minutes from Exeter. Exeter is a historically significant city which pre-dates Roman times and enjoys a wealth of architectural sites to explore. As a vibrant University city, it has become a hub for educational and cultural opportunities and provides fast links to Bath, Bristol, Oxford and London.

Within the welcoming and safe environment which Trinity provides, self-discipline is developed through understanding individual personalities and learning styles; compulsory participation in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) in Years 9 and 10 is a significant contributory factor. With inspirational clubs such as the Green Car Design Challenge, it is no surprise that Trinity won First Place in the Independent School Association Awards for STEM!
An indoor swimming pool, Tennis Academy featuring indoor and floodlit courts, and a new fitness suite in development means that Trintonians are well provided for on site. None more so than with the school’s cuisine, which is simply exceptional. Many staff recognise that the top-flight chefs, who have worked at some of the finest London restaurants (Claridge’s, for example) produce food which would make Trinity the ‘best restaurant in the area’.
Off-site activities make full use of the coast and include surfing, sailing, life-saving, SUP as well as scuba diving. On land, CCF, Duke of Edinburgh and the Ten Tors challenge form the backbone of the active pursuits offered. Teignmouth’s proximity to Dartmoor, a vast moorland area, affords students the opportunity to develop their hiking, orienteering and campcraft skills.
